worship and arts ministry

The worship and arts ministry of St. Olaf Lutheran Church is aligned with St. Olaf's calling to make disciples who LOVE GOD whole-heartedly. To that end, this ministry exists to model and facilitate deeply significant worship expressions that reflect transformed lives.

We serve and worship together in a number of interdependent ministry teams:

St. Olaf's music team is made up of vocalists, rhythm section instrumentalists, and our organist who help facilitate corporate worship during worship services. They also model and facilitate worship at smaller group functions and special events within the church.

Our tech team facilitates worship in our sanctuary by running and maintaining our sound and lighting equipment. We consider our video projection volunteers worship leaders at St. Olaf. Our projection team serves during times of corporate worship in our sanctuary, and occasionally in other venues for special events.

Our ushers are a part of our worship and arts ministry team because they help facilitate corporate worship, serving the congregation weekly.

Following a long-held and deeply loved Lutheran tradition, our choir meets some Sundays after church in the Fall through the Spring, preparing pieces for special services during the year.
