We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and the final authoritative standard in all matters of life and faith. 

St. Olaf is a disciple-making church. (Matthew 28:18-20) We believe God has placed us right here in the community of Montgomery at a cultural crossroads for this very point in history. We are His hands and feet in this neighborhood. And the Gospel is transforming lives here. 

We embrace a biblical four-point picture of a mature believer in Jesus Christ: Someone who is growing in their KNOWLEDGE of God (relationship), in their LOVE for God (worship), in their KNOWLEDGE of one another as believers (the St. Olaf family) and in their LOVE for those outside the church (serving our community). St. Olaf Lutheran Church exists to make disciples, through the power of the Gospel, who KNOW and LOVE God, and who KNOW and LOVE People. 

St. Olaf Lutheran is also a part of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC).
